Just copy and paste the following code block into your terminal. It's a quick and easy way to keep everything up to date, too, and fortunately, Microsoft has produced all the code you'll need to get going. Microsoft Edge can be installed this way by first adding the Microsoft PPA. If you're enabling Linux on your Chromebook, you will at some point have to get relatively comfortable with the terminal.
